Flip chip
In the low position, the suspension ratio becomes more progressive, especially at the end of the stroke with a strong resistance to bottoming out. In the high position, the bike will stay higher in travel with better mid-stroke support. The more picky will be able to adjust the suspension, according to their needs and preferences.
Attention to detail
The detail is pushed with a small mudguard that protects the shock absorber, with the passage of the sheaths and hoses well integrated and guided internally in the front triangle, as well as well-placed rubber protections.
VPP™
The VPP™ suspension can be tuned to find the perfect balance between pedaling efficiency and shock absorption. The Nomad does an exceptional job of absorbing the biggest bumps at high speeds, allowing its rider to push harder, with the confidence to do so on the most demanding terrain. But because it’s no slouch when pedaling, finding the most remote trails won’t be a chore like some bikes in this category can be.
All the necessary travel
If you're racking up lift tickets as your van clocks up miles, you probably pay close attention to suspension. The Nomad offers 170mm up front with a 38mm fork and 170mm VPP™ suspension in the rear, compatible with either an air or coil shock.
Sensitivity and permanent adhesion
On the Nomad, the lowered anti-squat level reduces the kickback effect on the most pronounced impacts at high speed, improving sensitivity to maintain optimal grip, both downhill and uphill.
High speed shock control and absorption
By lowering the starting point of the ratio curve, we have also improved the influence of the rider's weight on the evolution of the geometry throughout the travel. The reduced progressiveness allows for better support and optimal control throughout the shock's stroke.
