The Trickstuff Direttissima disc brake impresses with its stability, defined pressure point and controllability. On the C42 brake caliper, four pistons ensure good braking power. To adapt its ergonomics, the lever width can be adjusted over a wide range without the need for tools. The brake also does its job reliably when the system is heavier, for example on e-bikes, and is characterised by excellent heat management. This is the result of the use of particularly temperature-stable Bionol, which is no problem down to -15 °C, stainless steel pistons and POWER+ insulating brake pads. The clear pressure point results from the finely tuned transmission ratio from the lever to the brake and promotes intuitive operation. Trickstuff optimises the dosing capacity by systematically reducing friction in the system: virtually frictionless bearings, PU seals at the contact points, high-pressure lines covered with Kevlar and a lever with quadruple bearings contribute to this. The braking force characteristic curve of the Direttissima is progressive. This means that the more you pull the lever, the greater the braking effect. The feeling of having to pull harder and harder on long descents to achieve the same braking force is a thing of the past. Speaking of the lever, it is designed in such a way that no surface structure irritates you when braking and your finger can slide along the lever when you pull it closer. This means that you do not have to turn your hand and keep the handlebars firmly in your hand. The two-part milled clamp compensates for the slight differences in the circumference of different handlebars. The delivery includes a brake set for the front and rear wheels.
